Opening then closing weblink previews makes app unresponsive

After opening a weblink preview modal and then clicking out of it, the app stops responding to clicks until a force reload (cmd+R) or restart. Usually 2 force reloads in a row are needed to make it responsive to clicks again. See recording for other weird details.
