When changing property type, app stops responding

I changed property type of object e.g. from tags to label (and several more, from number to text too) - in bulk for cca 50 objects of same type - and always popup appears with progress bar and notice "Do not close capacities, ...". Every time the progress bar stops at cca 25% and app becomes unusable, so one has to close it manually.

After restarting app, property type is changed and everything is ok. Just the progress bar and "do not close" alert is quite misleading, because there is no other way how to finish the task (i tried waiting for 20 minutes) than force close and reopen app.
