saveToDailyNote reports success but doesn’t add anything to my daily note

I’m using the Capacities MCP in Codex and Claude. I tried saveToDailyNote with a short test message, and it returned “Daily note saved successfully,” but reading today’s note back through the MCP showed no new text and no change to lastUpdated. Searching for the test text didn’t find it either.

Appending directly to the same daily note with appendMDToObject worked and was verified, so this seems specific to saveToDailyNote.

Tested October 2, 2026, timezone America/Los_Angeles. Not sure if the write is delayed or going to a different date. It would help if the response included the daily note’s object ID so I could check where it went.

Daily-note writes are processed asynchronously, and the API uses today’s date in UTC unless a date is specified. Could you share the exact saveToDailyNote request, response, and the UTC time it was run so we can check whether it was queued for a different date?
