Search not working as expected
Hello
I think this is a genuine bug.
A partial search for an existing object seems to work with a few characters, but as you enter more characters and/or happen to enter the full object name, it does not show up in the search results.
For example, if I have an object called "Capacities", and I start typing "@Cap" it will most likely find Capacities as part of the search results, however, as I continue to type to narrow down the search results, instead of showing less results and/or just the result of "Capacities", there is NO result. So, for example, if I type "@Capacities", the result does not display "Capacities" despite it being in the database from previous creation.
Does that make sense?

Hello Beth
I think that I have jumped the gun on this one. I thought it was working, but it seems to still have issues.
It's very weird. The more of an object name I type, the less likely it seems to find it. Sometimes typing the FULL name of a known and existing object returns a "not found" result even though I can see it in the initial stages of addressing it (with the @) and as I type more characters to shorten the results list, it either disappears before fulfilling the object name, or, once the object name is complete, it says it doesn't exist.
Not sure what's going on, but this doesn't seem right to me. Did you need a screen recording?
Hello Beth
Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes, that seems to have fixed the issue!!! I'll keep that in mind if it does it again (and/or on other devices).
Thanks again Beth.

·5 days agoHi Brad Hawkins please could you try Settings > Account > Reboot and let me know if it fixes it?

I got a message saying "I know what you mean". Does that suggest it is a bug and you know about it?
I think it is an issue with the search process used when looking/searching for objects using the @ symbol. It seems to work ok with some objects, but not with others. It seems like a weird issue.
Thank you.
