reoccurring helper tool prompt

I have capacities on my work Macbook computer, and I've started getting a popup every hour asking for an admin password to install a helper tool. I manually activate admin rights (I can only get privileges for 5 mins at a time through my company's self service tool) and enter my password. The prompt goes away, but then an hour or so later I get a new one. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't fix the issue.
