When typing in Japanese, pressing the Enter key selects an item before confirming the input.
Hi, I love Capacities but I have a trouble.
When typing in Japanese, pressing the Enter key selects an item before confirming the input.
When inputting Japanese, we often convert Hiragana to Kanji or Katakana.
I chose target Kanji in many Kanjis by the space key.
Then, confirm the Kanji by press enter key.
This Enter input is meant for confirming kanji choices, but Capacities interpret it as an input for selecting items, leading to the creation of tags or the navigation to another page before the input is confirmed.
The attached GIF demonstrates situations where, while inputting tags, pressing Enter to confirm Katakana conversion inadvertently creates a tag.
Similarly, during page search, pressing Enter to confirm Katakana conversion navigates to the Pages page before the input is confirmed.
In practice, confirming kanji choices with a mouse click works seamlessly without issues. However, it's a bit cumbersome compared to using Enter.
(BTW, it seems like the same issue exists in Anytype, and unfortunately, this hack isn't applicable it.)
In JavaScript, it seems that this distinction is made using isComposing ( https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/InputEvent/isComposing ).
e.g., similar issue here: https://github.com/gencay/vscode-chatgpt/issues/191
Thanks.

Hello, same trouble here. any updates?

I cannot speak to priority, but this is a critical blocker for Japanese users. I imagine most would give up on Capacities for this reason alone.
