Bug: spacebar in simple tables

When typing content in simple tables, the spacebar doesn't place a space between words sometimes (frequently). I noticed that once I'm done typing, it has placed all spacebar entries at the end of the characters (e.g. oat milk latte will appear as oatmilklatte followed by 3 spaces at the end). Going back after typing allows me to insert spaces no problem. It is very odd and uniquely frustrating. Also, using the shift + enter to start a new line in the same box lags.

For context, I am using simple tables in daily notes to track my meals. It is in a column.

Update: I noticed today, the issue only occurs when I start a line with "- ". If I just start typing and add the makeshift bullet point after, it doesn't have issues with spacebar entries.
