Unable to sign-in to Google account to show embedded files (IOS Desktop)

When I embed a Google doc it prompts me to sign-in, but clicking the sign-in button doesn't trigger an action. Now I can't embed files and pasted links all get the title "Google Docs: Sign-in". This makes working with the desktop app difficult.

Capacities MacOS v1.61.1

  • Adding a link to a Google Docs document (Meeting notes by Gemini)
  • The Google connection button is inoperative

The Google account is checked connected from the Capacities Web app

This is expected. Sign-ins aren't supported on desktop, only on web. This is a technical limitation.
