New PDF Viewer: Text Selection Broken

In the new PDF viewer, the shift+arrow command that allows to to select text in your editor is captured by the PDF and now moves through pages (shift+left = last page; shift+right = next page). Especially as the pdf is in a scrolled view, this is very irritating. Please make the text selection uniform across object types.
