Image sync unreliable

Steps to reproduce:

• Copy image from iPhone to a daily note
• Open desktop version and go to the calendar on the day of the note

The image is there on the iPhone version but on desktop I get this fail message

I've tried rebooting as suggested on another bug, but is still not working.
