Capacities 1.70.2 disappears after restarting Windows

I am experiencing an issue with the Windows desktop version of Capacities (v1.70.2).

After installing Capacities, the application works normally. However, after restarting Windows, Capacities is no longer installed and the application/executable appears to have been removed from the system.

This has happened repeatedly: I reinstall Capacities, it works normally, and after a subsequent system restart the application disappears again.

I have not manually uninstalled the application.

Environment:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Capacities: 1.70.2
  • Installation: Windows desktop application

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with version 1.70.2, particularly related to the Windows installer or auto-update mechanism?

I would also appreciate any information about where I can check the application’s update mechanism or relevant logs, so I can determine whether the application is being removed by Capacities itself or by another process on Windows.

Thank you.

Could you check Windows Security/your antivirus quarantine and Protection History to see whether the Capacities executable was removed after reboot? Please also share the installer type used, installation path, and any relevant Event Viewer or antivirus entries. This will help distinguish an installer issue from Windows security software removing the app.
