Pinned tab doesn't stick

There is an archived ticket for this marked complete, but it's still not working: https://feedback.capacities.io/b/1v35e680/feature-ideas/make-pinned-tabs-sticky

When I pin a tab and then click something in the left sidebar, sometimes it opens in a new tab but sometimes it replaces what was in the pinned tab.

When I click some link in the pinned tab's note itself, it always gets replaced.

This is kinda annoying
