Can no longer set the collection of an embedded query not yet in a collection

This is another regression in the new design changes, but if an embedded query has no collection then it's no longer possible (as far as I can see) to set the collection of the query. You have to go into the object type view and change it from a view there.

As an aside, I don't need to see the collection of every embedded query. The detailed information about a query used to be collapsible, just leaving the description if one existed.
